Thank you for visiting my website and for taking the time to learn more about the person behind the camera.
I am a father to three of the greatest joys and blessing that I could ask for, a husband to a wonderful and loving wife, and an artist. Creating art has always been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember, it gives me a different perspective in the way that I see the world. I see beauty in all of God's creation, and its an incredible gift to be able to capture your loved ones in their moment in time that will be treasured for a life time!
I have always had an interest in art starting before elementary school. Early on the focus was mainly drawing with pencil and charcoal, and later evolved into photography and post processing. After high school and working odd jobs such as retain, service and programming until I finally realized my true calling was to go back to my artistic side and create fine art portraiture.
I got my first manual film SLR camera when I was 22 and started taking college classes on photography, lighting, photoshop and business. Before digital photography I started with film cameras in both 35mm and medium format, but I love working with digital and I love the results I can get with them. Over the years I have worked with an awesome wedding photographer in Smiths Falls, a family oriented studio in Ottawa and in my own portrait studio in Abingdon, and I have developed my style and learned what I love to photograph.
I feel truly blessed to be able to create art that will be treasured for a lifetime, and to have a family that supports me in all that I do.
